Old Ford, North Camp
Desription: This venue has good access by rail, as its right next to North Camp station. It has pine boards up to the dado rail, and magnolia walls, and a dark red ceiling. When a band is playing there is not much room left, but no-one seems to mind. It has a large car park.

Old King's Head, Hampton Wick
Description: This venue has dark blue painted ceilings, with elegant chandlers made from small discs of translucent shell. The patterned frosted glass windows help you to ignore the busy road outside. All this together with the bare floorboards gives it a modern yet classical feel. It has only recently re-furbished and re-opened after being closed for several years. On the magnolia or similarly coloured walls, is a striking designer clock, a large mirror and artwork in traditional moulded gold painted frames. The polished wood L-shaped bar is decorated with small blue leds and illuminated marble streaked panels. There are some quite comfy and probably pretty expensive high stalls round the bar. This works well when there arn't many people, but on a Saturday night it can make it hard for everyone else to get to the bar for a drink. In one corner is a fireplace complete with padded leather sofas. At the other end is a cleared area for the stage. Beers on offer include Fosters, Stella Artois, Kronenbourg Blanc, Guinness, as well as Magners and strongbow cider. A selection of bottled beers such as Corona and the usual spirits. Entertainment is provided by a large LCD screen for sports. They are open till 11:30pm Monday to Thursday, with the misnoma of happy hour on Fridays from 6-8pm, and they stay open till 1am. On Saturdays till 1am and Sundays till 10:30pm. Live music every Saturday night, solo artists and full bands. Once a month they have a tribute band (this is ticket only).

Old Ticket Hall, Windsor
Description: As the name suggests this venue was previously the grand ticket hall for the Windsor and Eton Riverside railway station. Many of the period features have been retained, the arched double doors, high beamed ceiling and the angled kiosk in the middle. however the typical sullen faces of BR staff behind the counter in days gone by, have been replaced with cheery, helpful ones. The walls have been painted white, with four extra large monochrome icons depicting DYLAN, Bob : MARLEY, Bob : MORISSON, Jim (of The Doors) : and I guess, Madonna, with a fag in her mouth, (though she's surely out of place in the company of such greats). The panelling up to the dado rail has been painted an odd shade of Green, but it seems to work. They have adjustable mood lighting and a mirrorball. There are continental stype high tables and upholstered stools, great for a chilled Sunday night (for Birds of a Feather), but I'm not sure if these are still out when bands play on Friday and Saturday nights (£3 entry, but Free before 10pm with a flyer from the venue). There is also an Open Mic Night on Thursdays from 9pm.

Onslow Arms, West Clandon
Description: This Traditional old English pub has recently been refurbished and slighlty altered layout, including a lighter counter top to the long bar, better lighting and new seating. The walls are decorated with art prints, newspaper cuttings, old photographs. Beers on offer include Fosters, Guinness, Kronenbourg 1664, San Miguel, Warsteiner. Pridenjoy, T.E.A. and a guest ale. Strongbow cider, bottled beers including Corona, Budweiser, and holsten Pils. There is also a new restaurant area on the street side replacing the L'auberge French restaurant. There can't be many venues in the country that can offer their patrons somewhere to land their helicopter, while eating in very pleasant 17th Century surroundings, but this is one. They have reduced the live music to once a month (first Wednesday) and some Bank Holiday Sundays.
