Had some good Horhsam ale, whilst my wife enjoyed some good cider (no ice thank you) last weekend. Food was excellent. Good atmosphere, friendly if over-worked staff. Slow food service, but we wheren't in a rush. Will go again.
ReplyDeleteAte here recently with my family (a table of 8) and we were all mightily impressed with the food despite waiting an hour and a half. Admittedly the place was rammed to the rafters but this is still too long. I went there to sample the range of ales as all the other reviews have mentioned them. I started with a pint of Summer Lightning which was fine but upon returning found out they had sold out so I switched to 6x which again was good, only to find out they had sold out of that as well on returning to the bar! I then switched to Horsham which which was very pleasant but surely on a busy Saturday night you arm yourself with the necessary staff/ale to cope with demand?
