First time we have been in this pub for 20 years and how pleasant to find a real pubby atmosphere. The 3 different beers we had were all in good condition and the staff and the locals seemed very friendly. One small suggestion...why dont they have a non-smoking area... maybe the first part of the pub when you come in through the door nearest the roundabout? Would have given a higher mark but the smokey atmosphere was bad.
Excellent for a night out. Live music is always top quallity (especially Nite Train) good service and some lovely barmaids. Quiet in the day and busy at night. Good allround pub.
