  1. Went to the Grotto to see another gigging, and it was great. It's always good to check out other acts and even get to chat with them and see whats the happs, around the music scene.

  2. In my humble opinion you'll be hard pressed to get a better pint of Guinness - I sample some of Dublin's finest every month so am more than qualified to express that one! Great Thai food every evening, phone up for takeaway too, more regular fare for lunchtime grub, just had a crackin double decker bacon sarnie. staff are always welcoming and friendly, owned by a great couple of New Yorkers that can't say the word booza properly. They've done a great job turning around a booza I wouldn't have set foot in before they took it over... a great regular crowd and always a steady flow of new faces. The music is always great; Jim and Gary raise the roof as do all the people that play, gotta stick up for Scratch too! always a great atmosphere in a small, friendly PROPER pub. There's not many left like this one... They even have free wireless internet for the customers, work is so much better with a Guinness in hand.
