Description: This is quite a large venue, a little far off the beaten track, but most of the time thats a good thing. The high ceilings have exposed beams, most of the roughly plastered walls in the main bar are a greeny-blue, with magnolia on the columns and what appears to be an old-fashioned oven, and those in the snug are red. There is also some bits of plain stonework. They are decorated with arty prints and blackboards containing special offers and information about forthcoming events. There are also a few old copper kitchen-ware. Towards the front is a restaurant area, with tables laid out for barfood. At the rear is a large covered beer/smoker's garden with tables and chairs. Beers on offer include Carling, Grolsh, London Pride, Surrey Hills' Shere Drop, Timothy Taylor's Landlord, wines and spirits. The live music is every Sunday night from 8:45pm. Other entertainment is provided by an LCD Tv, dart board, and a small aquarium. Thursday is quiz night.
